Privacy Policy
How we handle your information at SeasonEye.
Last updated: September 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how SeasonEye (“we,” “us”) collects, uses and protects information when you visit seasoneye.com. By using the site, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. If you sign up for our newsletter, we collect your email address. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.
- Automatically collected data. Like most websites, we collect standard technical information such as your browser type, device type, approximate location (country or city level), the pages you visit and how you arrived at the site. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.
Cookies and tracking
We use cookies to keep the site working, to understand how it is used, and to support our affiliate relationships. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Most of the site will still work if you do.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics, connected through Google’s Site Kit plugin, to understand how visitors use the site, such as which guides are popular and how people find us. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information about your visit, which Google processes under its own privacy policy. We look at this information in aggregate and do not use it to identify you. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Affiliate links
SeasonEye is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. When you click a product link, you leave our site and go to Amazon. Amazon may set cookies that record that you came from SeasonEye, so a qualifying purchase can be credited to us. We do not receive your name, address, payment details or the details of what you buy. Amazon handles your information under its own privacy notice. See our Affiliate Disclosure for more.
Email newsletter
Our newsletter is sent with Hostinger Reach, the email service provided by our web host, Hostinger. When you sign up, your email address is stored with Hostinger Reach so we can send you our seasonal guides. Emails may include standard tracking of opens and clicks so we know which content is useful. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove you at any time by writing to the address below.
We share our guides on Pinterest. If you arrive from Pinterest, our analytics may record that as the source of your visit. Your activity on Pinterest itself is governed by Pinterest’s privacy policy.
How we use your information
- To send you the newsletter you signed up for.
- To reply when you contact us.
- To understand which guides are useful and improve the site.
- To keep the site secure and working properly.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers that run the site on our behalf (our web host Hostinger, including Hostinger Reach for email, and Google for analytics), or when required by law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to how it is used. To make a request, email us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Children’s privacy
SeasonEye is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows the most recent version.
